Meet The Founder

Meet Nedra the founder/visionary of She Declared War.

Hey there WarriHer,

I’m so thrilled that you’re here. I truly believe that God orders our steps wherever we go. So, my prayer is that you will find out why He led you here and that you will feel at home in this safe space. My name is Nedra Nelson Wright. I am the founder of She Declared War. A wife, mother of two biological and two bonus kids, a passionate follower of Christ, lover of empowering women, and a servant at heart. Registered Nurse by profession.

Let me tell you a little bit about how God led me to start this unique ministry for women.

I grew up in church, where I came to know the Lord at a young age. But, it wasn’t until I was about 29 years old that I experienced a difference with them and began a real relationship that changed my life forever. I can still remember the very day on my kitchen floor screaming and crying out to God “ I need you, I can’t do this on my own anymore. If you bring me out of this darkness (depression) into the light, I promise I will shine bright (serve Him) for the remaining days of my life. God met me at the lowest point in my life and extended an invitation for me to find rest in Him. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” ~ Matthew 11:28-29.

In 2013, I heard the Lord clearly, “It’s time to DECLARE WAR” against everything (molestation, attempted suicide, depression, family hurt, insecurity, financial struggles, anger issues, miscarriage, failed relationships, divorce, comparison, envy/jealousy, multiple failures, deception, generational curses, etc.). I had overcome what seemed like pure hell then, not knowing GOD was preparing me for my PURPOSE ....Empowering Women!!!!! How could I help another if I had never gone through it? It now makes sense. Due to my experience as a broken and weary woman who desperately sought Him for strength and wisdom in my own life, I was led to assist other weary women to find that same strength I found, starting with my best friend in 2018. During this season, He gave me the vision, every detail, and the preparation needed to start this ministry.

On August 31, 2019, I launched “She Declared War.”

She Declared War is birthed out of my testimony for all women. My plan for this group is to use my past experiences to help EVERY woman I come in contact with become the best version of herself with Christ.
