How are you using your words? (Copy)
Solomon wrote a good bit about the “tongue” in Proverbs. Example: Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”
Questions to ask yourself before you speak....
Am I adding value by the words I speak, or am I removing?
Am I lifting someone up, or am I tearing down?
Am I helping someone move forward, or am I holding someone back?
Am I speaking division/defeat in my marriage/relationship/friendship, or am I speaking life?
Am I encouraging someone to reach for their dreams, or am I letting my own jealousy/envy come through?
When I have to deal with an issue, can I do it with kind words instead of anger?
Lesson: We (You and Me) use our words all day long, so the opportunity to add life to someone else has no limits.
Our tongue has power. Remember as kids we used to say “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me”......that’s a lie. Words hurt. Words scar. Words can kill and destroy.
There is power in your tongue, use it wisely!

One Word 2025
Hey WarriHers
Stopping by to invite you to THRIVE in 2025 with our 5th year of ONE WORD.
Instead of New Year’s resolutions that we typically don’t stick to past January, we chose one word and one scripture to stand on for the year. #OneWord2025withSDW
For example, My one word for 2024 is MORE, and the scripture is John 3:30 KJV: ”He must increase, but I must decrease.” More - which, by definition, is a larger or extra number or amount. Even though I believe I intentionally put GOD first, there was MORE, and God ensured I knew what I was standing on. See, I didn’t know that standing on MORE from HIM required MORE faith from me. WHEW, this year has been one of the most challenging but BEST years of my life. What I love most is that in every area….good, bad, and ugly- God has NEVER left.
Began seeking GOD for your word and Scripture.
I pray that you are having a Blessed night. Your family is well and that you are declaring war of whatever you may be facing.
I love you BIG
Stop expecting out of people/world what only God can give!
Example: Expecting a person to fill the void in an area(s) that’s been empty since your childhood and, get mad because they don’t. That’s unreasonable. Let God heal you. Let God have that battle. Let God have that question. Let GOD
Transparency: This was me. I expected my husband to be everything I needed/lacked/missing since he was my “Better Half” and felt like he failed me when he didn’t. #Unreasonable
Just say #OUCH #Unreasonable
I love y’all BIG
Check Your Plug!!
After hearing my pastor emphasize the importance of being connected to God this morning, the source of power, I realized that we often fail to receive the power we need because we are not fully plugged into Him.
I got to work and noticed that my computer was not charged despite being plugged in. Upon a closer look, I saw that it was only PARTIALLY plugged in. This served as a reminder to examine our connection with God and ensure that we are fully plugged into Him for power and guidance. CHECK YOUR PLUG!
Just like a half-plugged computer won't receive the full charge it needs, we must ensure that we are fully connected to God to access the power and strength we require.
Encouragement: Check your PLUG!!
Do you really believe the “ALL”
I gained something NEW in my reading this morning from Romans 8:28 says, "And we KNOW that ALL things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
This is a very familiar scripture, but do we really believe that “ALL”.
Issues in your marriage
Issue with your kids
Problems on your job
Financial struggles
Your past
You fill in the blank
Stop hoping and wishing and KNOW that ALL things will work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose‼️
I pray this bless you as it has me!
Your YES matters
Hey WarriHer,
This month we are focusing on our YES‼️
Has God called you to say “YES” about something? Why are you straddling the fence?
Whether saying YES to God is Forgiving someone, Letting Go, breaking generational curse’s, becoming wife material before the ring, teaching tour kids the ways of the Lord, serving in your church, being a light on your job, accepting a hard truth about yourself, being more intentional about sharing the word of GOD or encouraging the body of Christ, your YES matters sis‼️.

Am I the “Walking Dead”?
When Pastor Daniel Harris entered the church with a dead branch this morning, I didn’t know such a mighty word was to follow‼️
Vine - God | Branch - (You/Me)
Pastor : You don’t have to die to be dead
Me 💭 : Huh?
Pastor : Without connection to the vine(GOD), there is no life!!!!
Me in my notes 📝 : I once was the WALKING DEAD🫠🙌🏽
Encouragement: Don’t be the branch near the source/vine (GOD) but not connected‼️
Go find a dead branch as a reminder of what you will not be! 🤷🏽♀️
Reference: John 15:4-7
Go back and watch the service it will bless you BIG!

Being IDLE gives birth to IDOLS
While in prayer I felt the Holy Spirit prompting me speak on IDLE time. So of course I went to the word and found Ephesians 5:15-16 NIV! Which speaks on making the most of your time!
Idle time is the devil's workshop. When idle, we tend to be more triggered and tempted to sin, look, listen, and do things we shouldn't.
Being IDLE gives birth to IDOLS! Don’t allow it! Fill your time with things that will grow you!
#WarriHER #StayArmedAndReady #SisterhoodLikeNoOther #IdolatryNotMe
Idolatry….is that you?
Idolatry for me - Anything that has me grasping for satisfaction in all the WRONG places!
Questions to ask SELF and Let this marinate…..#OUCH
-What’s my idol(s)? Money, relationships, job, worldly Identity, social media, busyness, sex, comfort, phones, just to name a few.
-Have I given any person or anything greater value than GOD?
Even good things/people can become idols when we place greater value on them than GOD.
Our word for the month can be the key to FREEDOM if we are in a #POSITION to receive it.
Where God is first, we will never be last.
Have a blessed night and declare war on whatever you are facing!!!!
Stay Ready WarriHER!
Stay Ready, so you won’t have to Get Ready!!
The enemy or your “inner me” (mind, thoughts, temptation, doubt, situations, areas of weakness, etc) will steal, kill, and destroy ~John 10:10~ if we are not ARMED and READY for battle! I mean the Bible says in ~1 Peter 5:8~ that Satan, “prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone (you/me) to devour".
I mean think about it, why not
• remind you your relationship/marriage/finances struggling;
•remind you of your failures/mistakes, past, insecurities;
•allow you to face someone who triggers your aggression/anger/hurt
•temp you with your ex;
• remind you of your health issues
Anything to take your focus away from GOD is the goal…..
Ooooooh but GOD.....Say/type it with me, “NOT TODAY”......because see, WE have put on “THEE” Whole Armor of GOD ~Ephesians 6:11~ in preparation of what’s ahead and will adjust as needed. You/Me/We are ready for battle.
Go Win the day WarriHers!
Wait your turn sis‼️
Late Night Encouragement: I’ve done it wrong and tried to rush my season but it didn’t work out for my good or God Will.
The best decision I’ve made is choosing to hand every friendship, relationship, family, finances, Decisions, forgiveness, healing, etc over to GOD in my waiting season.
Question: What do you do in your waiting season ?
Me: Wait Well🙌🏽

Good Afternoon ladies……the questions below are from Job Chapter 5. Make sure you study for yourself and try to apply to daily life. Attach verse to answer found.
What did you get from Chapter 5?
Who does resentment kill, according to this chapter?

In what way does Eliphaz speak of His own experience again?!
Bible Study

Reaping the Harvest
Is it just my season for trials/pain/suffering (Ecclesiastes 3:1) or Am I reaping the HARVEST of some seeds I’ve planted (Galatians 6:7) #Ouch #HarvestDoesntAlwaysFeelGood #WeMayForgotGodDoesNot #DoGood #SeenAndUnseen #PlantWisely
Have a BLESSED night❤️💪🏽
“CLOSURE”….not always the answer!
CLOSURE - that explaination; that apology; that why me; that understanding!!!!
Have you ever said, “I need CLOSURE” in a situation (whatever you have faced or currently facing) before I can move forward in life. Speaking from the view point of a nurse....some wounds must be left open in order to heal.
•Closing an infected wound will make the infection worse. Causing more illness( hate, envy, jealousy, vengeance, judgement, etc). WHEW.
Transparency
•I can remember trying to get healing from the very people/person I knew left me wounded. #ClosureToAnInfectedWound
•I can remember waiting on that apology, that never came, which in return caused me live life bitter....NO PEACE. #ClosureToAnInfectedWound
•I can remember posting indirect messages about friendships, relationship, and folk, to let them know they hurt me, hoping they would apologize. #ClosureToAnInfectedWound
•I can remember rereading every text (friendship/relationship) to try to figure out what went wrong. #ClosureToAnInfectedWound
•I can remember stalking their social media to gain closure.....it will only made things worse. #ClosureToAnInfectedWound
Lessons I learned : TRUST GOD and what he allows
•Whether you get an apology/reason or not, it doesn’t change the wound, nor the healing process.
•Closure isn’t a need, it’s something we THINK we need. If the wound isn’t closed, there is a reason.
•Every time you pick at your wound, is another day of stalled healing.
•You don’t need CLOSURE to every wound. Sometimes you need the prolonged healing for GROWTH!
•Instead of focusing on the wound itself, focus on the HEALER and what he’s telling you.
Scripture - “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3
Exercise: What past experience, trial, hurtful word, or person is still harmfully affecting your life today?
Encouragement
Reminder.....Jehovah-Jireh, is more than ENOUGH❤️💪🏽 #HappyFriday #Peace #Healer #Provider #ArmedAndReady🎵: Jireh - Elevation Worship & Maverick City Music**I do not own the rights to this song**
Are you trying to fit in or STAND OUT?!🤷🏽♀️🤔
We live in such a time that people choose to do whatever it takes to “fit in”. From finding the right look, to hanging with the right crowd, to keeping up with the “Jones”🙄.
In my experience.....whenever we try to keep up, we then trade our peace with anxiety, our acceptance for disappointment, and our contentment for worry.
One of the greatest compliments you can receive is that you are different. Believe me.
In the picture you may see just apples🍏🍏🍏🍎.....but I see more (PERSPECTIVE). I see who GOD created me to be. I see that there is no one else in this world like Nedra
As a child of GOD, we are created to be set apart and not a “cookie cut out” of who and what the world (social media, friends, etc) says we should be. The renewing of your mind puts you on a different path than the world around you. Those connected will notice. That is the way you STAND OUT.
A Few EXAMPLES:
•Instead being silent about something that makes you uncomfortable; use your voice ~STAND OUT
•Instead of having sex with him to keep him or prevent the risk of losing his interest; I will wait for the one who sees my WORTH. ~STAND OUT (I’ve been here)
•Instead of having a BIG wedding to show the world; Do what’s pleasing to you and your spouse. ~ STAND OUT
•Instead of responding to that messy text “belittling” someone’s character; take the high road and speak life into that situation. ~ STAND OUT
•Instead of avoiding certain things in public, so others won’t know you’re affiliated; be BOLD. ~STAND OUT
•Yes I’ve made many mistakes, bad choices, etc; I CHOOSE to live for GOD now ~STAND OUT
STAND OUT SHE DECLARED WAR🎯
